ARE YOU HEARING FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT OR DEMONIC SPIRITS?

Many who have the Holy Spirit are taught that they can no longer be tormented or oppressed by demonic spirits because they have been told that the Holy Spirit can’t dwell with demonic spirits. The truth is that we must get the Holy Spirit in order to help us get delivered from all the demonic spirits who attached to our souls (mind, will and emotions) due to our hurts and wounds, unforgiveness, pride, lust, fear and sin in our lives. The Holy Spirit will convict us of our sin and help lead us to overcoming.

In Matthew 18:21-35 Jesus explained if we refuse to forgive others for sinning against us from our hearts then we will be turned over to the tormentors. Demons torment Christians who have not forgiven all from their hearts. They oppress Christians by giving them thousands of thoughts a day trying to cause them to justify and excuse sin in their lives which allows them to stay in their flesh instead of true repentance like Jesus taught so they can walk in the fruit of the spirit.

Thus many who have the Holy Spirit in their spirits are also oppressed by demonic thoughts in their minds (their souls). The Holy Spirit will tell them to forgive all who ever hurt them like Matthew 6:14-15 so they can be forgiven for their sins. But their demons will remind them of all the horrible things that people did to them so the person never can forgive them from their heart which allows demons legal rights to continue to speak to them in their minds. Demons will tell them that everyone sins and Jesus did everything for them on the cross so they don’t need to do anything and then they won’t even attempt to pursue deliverance from their struggles of their flesh and sin and never bother to truly repent and change like Jesus expects and never walk in the fruit of the spirit. That’s why so many Christians don’t behave like Jesus and are mean, selfish and evil. That’s why so many manifest with anger and hatred to learning they are still tormented by demons.

Derek Prince helped deliver thousands of Christians around the world who had the Holy Spirit in them. He taught them that they must get the Holy Spirit in order to have any chance to get delivered from their demonic spirits. He likened it to going to college and having your professor give you a final exam without teaching you first and then expecting you to pass the test. You would fail. So in order to be delivered from your oppressive demons in your thoughts you must get the Holy Spirit. Then the Holy Spirit will teach you truth about how to forgive everyone, repent for pride and sin and walk in the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:16-26). I’ve personally seen thousands around the world who had the Holy Spirit but also struggled with demonic spirits until they were able to forgive and repent and then get delivered. Then they could take the demonic thoughts captive because they could discern between the Holy Spirit and the demons giving them condemning, fearful and other negative thoughts. Then they could walk in the fruit of the spirit.

Thus most Christians who have the Holy Spirit often confuse every thought they hear for only being from the Lord or Holy Spirit when many times it is from demons. It is due to their anger, unforgiveness, pride and sin in their lives. Then the demons will tell them lies to hurt them. Telling them they couldn’t possibly have demons and the Holy Spirit, light and dark can’t coexist together, the Holy Spirit would never dwell in an unclean vessel with demons, etc. Then tell the person that everyone looks at porn and masturbates, lusts, lies, and no one is perfect to cause them to justify staying in their sin instead of obeying the Bible and getting delivered and walking in the fruit of the spirit. Then the demons will cause them to hurt other people, gossip, lie, be financially corrupt, sexually impure and never truly repent or change.
