JUDAS WAS THE FIRST CHRISTIAN WHO REFUSED TO GET DELIVERED FROM HIS DEMONS

There are many Christians who religiously attend church regularly for years who are oppressed by demons and walking in their flesh including many church leaders. We all have a freewill to choose to obey what Jesus taught in the Bible – first and foremost to forgive everyone (Matthew 18:21-35) and if we don’t Jesus says we will be turned over to the tormentors which symbolize demons. We also must repent for pride and sin which many Christians have never done – which is another open door for demons to torment. But did you know that one of Jesus’ own disciples did not get delivered and allowed demons to cause him to betray Jesus?

Judas Iscariot followed Jesus for approximately three years, which was the duration of Jesus’ public ministry. He was one of the twelve original apostles chosen by Jesus, and during that time, he witnessed most of Jesus’ miracles, heard his teachings, and participated in the ministry. He was also in charge of keeping the money box for the money that was to help provide for Jesus’ ministry (which Judas stole from).

Mary of Bethany, Lazarus’ sister, poured expensive perfume on His feet. The perfume, made from pure nard, was very expensive and could have been sold for a significant amount, but Mary chose to use it on Jesus instead. Judas criticized her for wasting the perfume because he was thinking how much money it was worth but Jesus defended her, saying that it was intended for his burial.

Later we know that Satan entered Judas who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, which led to Jesus arrest, trial, and crucifixion. Judas then had regret and gave the money back but then killed himself. Judas had a freewill to choose to obey Jesus and get delivered or not. So just like Judas – you can attend church regularly and hear great messages yet still have demons oppress you if you allow greed, lust, selfishness, pride, unforgiveness, and sin in your life. All Christians need to forgive everyone from their hearts and not take vengeance, repent for pride and sin and command demons out of their souls and then take every demonic thought captive and walk in the fruit of the spirit or you could end up with Judas in hell.

Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭23‬

““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice sin!’”
