DELIVERANCE CAUSES SIN TO LOSE ITS WORLDLY ATTRACTIVENESS

When we grow up we will receive various wounds to our soul (our mind, will and emotions) from people such as our father, mother, step parents, grand-parents, relatives, siblings, neighbors, church people, law enforcement, etc.  We all receive wounds as some get hurt in smaller ways (negative words, ungodly behaviors, pornography, incest, etc.) and some in much larger ways (sexually molested or raped, physical abuse, being yelled or screamed at).  When we get wounded we will then have thoughts of our own but also thoughts from demons who will chime in to make sure you have some anger and bitterness develop towards those who hurt you.  The demons know that when you have bitterness develop that they will have legal rights to speak to you and then hurt you and cause you to have all kinds of issues with your relationships (spouse and children and others) and physical issues in your body (sickness and diseases).  Demons will tempt you to sin so you will get hurt more and develop various addictions (alcohol, drugs, smoking, sex, etc) and then make decisions that are to your detriment.  Pride will also have legal rights to enter you (the spirit of Leviathan in Job 41) which will tell you that you cannot trust anyone because no one will protect you which leads to causing you to have an issue with trusting God.  Demons cause you to hear many negative thoughts to cause you to have fear and anxiety, depression and even suicidal thoughts.

The National Science Foundation did a study in 2005 which found that the average person could have up to 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts a day of which 80% were negative and 95% were repetitive of the same thoughts that they had the day before.  All those negative thoughts are largely being spoken to you by demons which cause you to agree with them and then you take actions to do things which cause you to ultimately hurt yourself.  They cause you to overeat, self-medicate with drugs, alcohol, smoking, driving you to overspend on things such as clothes, cars, houses, cosmetics, and to choose to sin in ways that will lead you down the road to despair, especially those who are in the church and struggle with all kinds of relationship issues, sexual impurity, and other areas in their lives.

So what is the solution to all these struggles in your life?  Just stop choosing to do things that are sinful.  Stop sexually sinning.  Stop over drinking, smoking, spending money you don’t have, having emotional or sexual affairs, looking at porn, yelling and screaming at people, lying, being prideful, etc.  Well that was simple now wasn’t it? Easier said than done or else people would have stopped it already.  Especially those who attend church all the time, pray in tongues, prophesy, fast, listen to Christian music, etc. So how does a person stop doing things that are bad for them that Satan wants them to do?  They must be honest that they have issues, choose to forgive all those who have hurt them in their lives, humble themselves before God, repent for their sins and command the demons to be gone from them.  This is called deliverance. Instead of hearing thousands of negative thoughts from demons every day, they can eventually discern every thought from demons and shut them down so they don’t hear their voices anymore.  Then they will have much more peace, joy, love and godliness in their lives. When this happens the person can actually live a godly life and sin dramatically loses its worldly attractiveness.

When you are delivered from all the demonic thoughts you will be able to behave in a godly way and have the fruit of the spirit in your life instead of the fruit of the flesh.  Until you get your wounds healed and delivered from demons you will hear thousands of demonic thoughts a day and do sinful things of the flesh every day.

Galatians 5:16-26 NKJV

Walking in the Spirit

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

When you ask Jesus to show you all those who have hurt you in your life from His perspective then you can see that everyone who ever sinned against you was also hurt when they grew up and were simply doing what the demons suggested to them.  Then you can choose to forgive them which takes away the legal rights they have to torment you.  Then you can humble yourself from your pride and repent for all your sins.  Then command the demons to go and you will greatly reduce any demonic thoughts which will then reduce your desire to choose to sin because you know that it will not produce any good fruit from it.

If we don’t forgive others then God cannot forgive us.  We will harbor anger and bitterness for other people and that gives demons rights to torment our thoughts and they will cause us to choose sinful activities to participate in and we will never know the fruit of the spirit such as peace in our lives.

14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

1 John 3:4-10 NKJV

Sin and the Child of God

Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

The Imperative of Love

10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

When people choose to pursue getting their wounds healed and demons delivered the desire for worldly things is no longer attractive.  You don’t desire to party, get drunk, do drugs, smoke, look at pornography or fornicate or dress in a sexual way, yell or scream to get your way, walk in pride, lie, etc.  Then the fruit of the spirit and Christlike behavior is evidence of your Christian walk.  You don’t have to fake it to make it or have to do a bunch of works to make people think you are a godly person because you are who you are behind closed doors as you are in public. When Jesus truly abides in us people will sense it and there will be good fruit of the spirit within us.  Our hearts and minds will be good and our intentions will also be good.
