So many people have had the innocence of their childhood stolen by the enemy through a myriad of circumstances (lack of a father’s presence in the home, verbal / physical or sexual abuse, controlling mothers or fathers, sexually molested by a friend, family member or parent, loss of a parent). When a person grows up void of a healthy environment, the enemy is able to hurt them from the beginning and many go their entire lifetimes struggling to recover the innocence that was lost. Many struggle with healthy marital relationships, causing them to choose people who have demons who then torment them even more, causing divorces and having their own children to get hurt in the similar ways that they were harmed. There are few people in the world who know what it was like to grow up in an environment of unconditional love, joy and peace with healthy fun to enjoy a normal life. They never were able to laugh with their moms, dads and siblings as all they knew was arguing, strife and tainted love. They never were able to simply enjoy a walk in the park, bike riding on an adventure, swinging and playing with the true…

So many people in the world simply want to be loved unconditionally by another person in a committed and trusted marriage for a lifetime. Unfortunately, most people have been hurt when growing up in their childhoods by fathers or mothers who were not present, distant, unloving, critical, controlling, or at the worst case of the spectrum - had abused their children emotionally, physically, and even sexually. Then when the child grew up, he or she heard thoughts in their minds that they thought were their own but were not. The enemy whispered thoughts into their minds such as "Your father did not love you," "You cannot trust your father to protect you," "Your mother wishes you were never born," "Your father hates you," "It is all your fault," "You cannot trust anyone in your life to protect or love you," etc. The enemy whispered these thoughts to them, causing them to believe that the thoughts they were listening to for a lifetime were the truth. Therefore, they began to replay those thoughts in their minds thousands of times, over and over throughout their lives. Most people desire to live a life that is free from strife and arguments.  If you are married to someone who consistently speaks hurtful words, controls you through making you do what they want or else they make your life miserable, or continually strives with you, then it is very hard to enjoy your life.  Some people have gone through divorces and are single yet they become lonely and then settle on marrying someone so they can have someone to talk to and share their lives with but then later they contend with strife similarly to their previous spouse and are more miserable then when they were single.  So it seems like it is a lose-lose situation in the world of marriage and relationships for more than 75% of the people in the world. Unfortunately, the enemy is behind the majority of strife in relationships as he causes people to hear his voice and then they act upon it or speak out what they are hearing and never realize it.  When a child is hurt by their parents through rejection, control, criticism, sarcasm, or worse – then they begin to hear the enemy speak to them in their minds and…

This morning after I woke up from a dream, the Lord told me that He wanted me to write a blog talking about love.  That there are so many people in the world who have been hurt by other people and just want to be loved unconditionally by someone.  The Lord also told me to correlate what is actually happening on a spiritual level to cause people to hurt other people, thus causing so many to have broken hearts and not be able to trust anyone to love them again.  Therefore that is the focus of my blog today. There is a song by the Beetles called "All you need is love" that has as a part of the song the following lyrics: "All you need is love, All you need is love, All you need is love, love, Love is all you need" So many people in the world want someone to love them, yet do not see themselves in the world as those who are married to them see them.  Women in particular want their husband to unconditionally love them, listen to them express their concerns, hopes and dreams, hug them, cuddle with them, put their arms around them, hold…

Have you ever thought about.....where your thoughts are coming from?  Most people don't.  They simply assume that all their thoughts....are their own thoughts.  When in reality our thoughts come from three places.  Our own, the enemy's and the Holy Spirit or the Lord.  Most people in this world do not hear from the Holy Spirit so their thoughts either come from their own or the enemy's.  But many who attend church and call themselves Christians also hear from the enemy, much more than they would think.  If you are walking in anxiety and fear much of the time in your life, then you are hearing from the enemy on a regular basis.  If you are angry and take an offense easily, then you are hearing the enemy whisper to you.  If you feel rejected constantly, then the enemy is talking to you. Think about it....you hear a thought that goes like this "Your husband does not love you like you deserve.....he is the reason why you don't feel loved....he argues with you all the time.....you deserve someone better....you need to divorce him and find someone who will cherish your heart and treat you like you deserve....your husband is the reason…

So many people that I have met during my lifetime who work their entire lives in order to make as much money as they can so they can buy things that take them farther away from true peace in the Lord.  I should know because I used to be one of them.  I grew up on a farm west of Fort Wayne, IN that was located just west of a small town called Columbia City.  I often had to wear "hand-me-downs" of clothing from my two older brothers, or patched up jeans, because we simply did not have any extra money.  We lived in an old 100+ year old farm house that sat atop a hill overlooking highway US 30 which stretched from SE of Chicago across the state towards Ohio. I got a job as soon as I could drive when I was in high school.  I was in 4H and had the grand champion barrow (male pig) and sold it for about $1,500 to the local Kroger grocery store in Columbia City.  I went into the manager of that store to thank him for purchasing my pig and then asked him for a job. 2 Timothy 2:23-24 says "23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient"  So many people (let alone Christians) strive about everything.  They simply do not know how to control their tongues from speaking words of strife.  And striving is not just about arguing with another person, although many times is often a big part of a person's life. Striving can also be about getting into worry, fear, anxiety, frustration, anger, taking an offense, etc.  Anything that causes a person to not be at peace is always the enemy.  Circumstances that appear to be a certain way cause people to lose their peace, instead of declaring how they want it to change and then thanking the Lord until it manifests in the future.  Unfortunately those in the church are not much better then those in the world when it comes to truly walking in the Spirit. So how does one change their life to stop striving so much?  It is a process of renewing one's mind from the things of their past to the things of the Lord.…

Have you ever sat down and thought where your thoughts are coming from? Most people rarely do. They just speak out whatever thought comes to them and then hurt other people that receive those words.  They just state "that's just the way I am - I speak my mind."  They do not have true love and compassion on those that they are speaking to and just expect people to "deal with it." Unfortunately so many in the world have no clue that their thoughts came from the true enemy in this world.  The thought was planted by the enemy, then the person receives it and agrees with it, then speaks it out, hurting all that are within earshot.  It is so important to think before one speaks, to discern what the ramifications will be. It is one thing if the person does not have a personal relationship with the Lord, as who can expect a lost person to be loving, kind, gentle and compassionate with others if their heart is not of the Lord.  But when a supposed Christian, who attends church regularly, and is being taught that we are to love like Christ loved the church, spews forth words…
