This past weekend in Chicago something amazing happened as people came from California, Washington, DC, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana to the Marriott in Naperville, IL.  They all had something in common. They were desperate for peace.  They wanted peace in their own personal lives. They wanted peace in their marriage with their spouse.  They wanted peace for their children and their parents and family.  They wanted healed from their past emotional wounds and physical pains. They were from varied ethnicities, African American, Hispanic, Asian, White, etc.  They were from varied church denominations.  Some people came who had followed Restored to Freedom for years but 75% came who saw an ad on Facebook for a week or two prior and never heard of Nelson Schuman.  Many said that they felt the Lord tell them to come and attend so they could receive freedom from their past wounds and healings.  Every seat in the room was taken and the Marriott staff had to find additional chairs to bring in. Most people in the world hear demons in their minds (through their thoughts) including those who attend church regularly.  Unless they have truly forgiven everyone, who has hurt them in their past and present (and future) and are walking in humility and repent for their own sins then demons have legal right to give them thoughts.  If you listen consistently to a thought from a demon then you will have behavior that is not of Christ.  You will be selfish, sexually impure, prideful, desiring to control other people and make them do what you and your demons want.  The National Science Foundation did a study in 2005 that concluded that some people have up to 50-60,000 thoughts a day of which 80% of their thoughts were negative and 95% were repetitive of the same negative thoughts they had the day before.  These are thoughts coming to them from demons to ruin not only their lives but to infect all of their other relationships. When you hear an entire thought / sentence from a demon you will be negatively affected.  You will get in fear and anxiety, feel angry, jealous, desire something sexually impure, want to make someone do what you…

When stressful times come – demons cause people to trigger into an alternate personality of fear, anger, jealousy and evil more often and thus arguments and strife will occur at a more frequent pace.  When people don’t know if they should wear a mask or not, aren’t sure if they will get paid from their employer or not, unsure if they can attend their church anymore or eat out at a restaurant or even work out at the gym from one month to the next, then they will feel anxious, worried, fearful, angry, and confused - which leads them into striving and arguing much more than usual.   Thus the demons are speaking to people at a much more bold and frequent level than ever before as they know their time is growing shorter on earth. Also witches are actively cursing people more and having "schools of ministry" online acting like they are Christian when in reality they are teaching people witchcraft and cursing them. Each week another more evil, sinister and sly plan is released around the world by evil leaders, in our countries, states, cities, towns, and churches.  People are focused on COVID-19 while they are missing the much bigger picture of those who are in evil high places as they try to take away more of our freedom and life from people who are healthy and Christian.  Little by little they want to control more and more of our lives, trying to instill fear over something that has a 98% cure rate.  There are many people who are reporting that they were contacted by their health clinics and informed that they tested positive for the COVID when they never actually stayed to get themselves tested as they had to leave since the wait took too long.  Other states are reporting exceedingly high numbers of positive results that are actually false and manufactured to make look much worse than it really is.  Now they are trying to force everyone to wear masks that are not effective to stop the virus as indicated on the boxes.  The next thing they will try to do is force people to take a vaccine that would infect…

The enemy loves to provoke people every day in order to get them to lose their peace in various ways such as with fear, anger, jealousy, feeling rejected or lust just to name a few. The enemy knows where you are weakest in your broken soul and will target you there repeatedly through various ways hundreds and thousands of times over your lifetime unless you get your soul wounds healed by Jesus and command the demons to go that are able to attach. If you have an anger issue then he will irritate you with things that will cause you to get angry easily. He may have people say or do things that cause you to lose it. He may cause irritants during your day so that things don’t flow as easily for you as you would like so that you become frustrated and ultimately angry. Then he will usually give you thoughts to blame you for being too angry. If the enemy knows you were sexually touched or exposed to pornography when younger then he will tempt you with sexual, impure thoughts and images the rest of your life which then causes you to stumble over and over again…

The bible says that we will face storms in life and have situations that will be sad and hard to walk through. Some of the storms will be created by other people who will come against us and cause us pain and tears. Often they come from people who we love. Some of the storms we create for ourselves from the decisions that we choose to make. John 16:33 New King James Version (NKJV) 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” The enemy often  speaks into our thoughts to cause us to live in fear as to what could possibly happen to us if we choose to do something or don't do something. Then when bad things actually do happen to us the enemy will try to speak into our thoughts to remind us of all the injustices that others have done to us so we will have unforgiveness and bitterness in our hearts, blaming us for our own bad decisions, and trying to condemn us…

Why are so many people in the church struggling to have peace and see the fruit of the spirit evident in their day to day lives?  Why are so many people living in either miserable marriages or experiencing painful divorces?  Why do so many people have sickness and disease in their bodies? Why are so many children angry at their church-going parents?  Why do so few people in church truly love each other like Christ? With the Thanksgiving holiday season coming upon us in America, many people are looking forward to what the holiday truly represents in thanking the Lord for family, blessings and lots of food, but at the same time are dreading having to see certain relatives. The relatives who make you feel loved and produce laughter are those you want to spend time around. Every person in the world hears voices whether they want to admit it or not. Many of the voices are coming from the enemy which cause people to do things that align with the enemy (fear, control, manipulation, lying, sexual sins, pride, selfishness, anger, etc).  Some of the voices we hear in our minds come from the Lord or Holy Spirit.  And some voices are our own thoughts.  Far too many people who attend church are hearing the enemy's voice and have no idea.  Unfortunately these people make choices that cause them to never have peace, strive over most things and have broken relationships and children who are hurt and want nothing to do with them. Hearing one thought from the enemy can cause a person to ruin a quiet evening, cause their spouse to cry, and cause a child to feel unloved.  People need to discern every thought that comes into their minds to determine if it is from the enemy, the Holy Spirit or the Lord or their own thoughts.  Too many people who attend church think every thought they have is from the Lord or their own mind and go with it. So many Christians are tormented in their minds every day with thoughts that flood them throughout the day from the enemy.  They have no idea that their thoughts are not all their own because the church fails to teach them at a level that they can truly understand. They talk about taking their thoughts captive but fail to give them tools to actually do it on a day to day basis.  What good is it to memorize Bible scriptures yet never feeling at peace, love or joy on a daily basis?  We as a church must do a better job at explaining to people that Christ died on the cross and then gave us His authority to do the very same things that He did while on earth.  We simply must take His authority and walk it out.
