SHOULD YOU LAY HANDS ON PEOPLE WITH DEMONS?
Should you lay hands on people with demons and who are sick to pray for them to get healed and delivered? Should you allow others you don’t know lay their hands on you and can demons transfer from them to you? What does the Bible say?
Luke 4:40-41 NKJV
“When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.”
Matthew 8:14-15 NKJV
“Now when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever. So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them.”
Luke 13:11-13 NKJV
“And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.”
So what if you are not walking in a pure godly life or not strong in the anointing of the Lord yet? Should you put your hands on others with demons? Should you allow others you don’t know who could be compromised living an ungodly life to touch you?
I Timothy 5:22 NKJV
“Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure.”
When Derek Prince (deliverance minister) was recently saved and had the Holy Spirit he noticed a man at the altar who was sobbing and crying. So Derek put his hands on the man and prayed for him. Unfortunately the demons that were tormenting that man who was sobbing then transferred over to Derek and then Derek found himself sobbing and crying uncontrollably when he prayed over people for the next two weeks – until he finally got delivered. So don’t lay your hands on others unless you walk in righteousness and are anointed by the Lord to do so. And don’t allow people to lay hands on you unless you know they are delivered and clean and pure from demons. I have personally seen many who transferred the Kundalini demonic spirit to others when they laid their hands on Christians and then those Christians necks would twist back and forth or up and down in an extremely fast and demonic way and act in a very ungodly way and walk in pride.
Jesus never ran after anyone who didn’t want to be healed or to submit themselves to Him. Mark 5:6 the man with Legion who was tormented with over 6,000 demons ran towards Jesus and worshipped Him because he wanted delivered. His demons did not want him delivered.
If a person is not willing to submit themselves to the Lord, obey the Bible, repent for pride and not willing to make sin rare in their lives then they will not get delivered from their demons. Freewill.
