REASONS GOD HASN’T PHYSICALLY HEALED YOU YET

Everyone wants to have good health so we need to look in the mirror and ask Jesus to show us what is the spiritual root causing us sickness or pain and what we need to do to be healed and walk in good health. Areas to consider:

Unforgiveness (Matthew 18:21-35) – Jesus gave the parable of a man who refused to forgive another man who owed him a little after he was forgiven a lot of money. Jesus said that man was turned over to the tormentors and the same thing would happen to us if we didn’t forgive everyone from our hearts. What torments people? Demons. They can cause both mental torment and physical sickness.
Pride – Naaman had leprosy and didn’t want to humble himself to obey Elisha to be healed by dipping 7 times in the dirty Jordan River (2 Kings 5). He wanted Elisha to wave his hand over his leprosy to get healed. He relented and humbled himself and dipped 7 times in the Jordan River and was healed. Pride got Lucifer kicked out of heaven.
Anger / Jealousy (1 Samuel 16:14 Saul was tormented by a demon which caused him mental distress and headaches because he became angry at God and jealous of David and wanted to kill him)
Eating bad food or too much (Gluttony – spirit of Beelzebub) – if you eat too much unhealthy fried or sugary foods you can struggle with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart issues, etc because you made an idol of food instead of self control.
Lack of exercise (people in Jesus days on earth often walked about 15-20 miles a day. Most today are sedentary which can cause many physical sicknesses.)
Relationship with an abuser (increased levels of stress from emotional abuse or physical and sexual can cause many kinds of sickness and disease)
Disobedience or lack of faith (Luke 1:5-25 John the Baptist’s father Zechariah, who was a Jewish priest, didn’t believe his wife Elizabeth was pregnant when told by Gabriel the angel – because they were old and barren – so God shut his mouth as he couldn’t talk during her pregnancy until after their baby was born)
Sin (sin in a major open door that allows demons to torment our souls and bodies. When Jesus healed those who were in sin He would often tell them to go and sin no more.)
Witchcraft (those with evil intentions can curse people who are living a compromised life, possessing items given to them by witches, unforgiveness, etc)
Your faith & compassion is being stretched (Smith Wigglesworth was known for seeing thousands of miraculous physical healings during his ministry including bringing people back from the dead but he had to suffer in pain for 6 years before God healed him from kidney stones)
Lack of fasting (when you fast from eating all food your body will try to heal itself as it regenerates damaged stem cells for better health)
