IT’S TIME TO SAVE THE LOST WITHIN THE CHURCH
““If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.”
Matthew 18:12-14 NLT
So many people who have attended church their whole lives but have felt lost as their lives are a mess, anxiety, fear, full of sin, addictions, defeated, broken relationships, in either a miserable marriage or divorced. Why?
I thought Christians were so supposed to be free and delivered from the world’s ways and full of joy and happiness. Well they can’t be when they still are being tormented by hearing demonic spirits, triggering on people in anger, walking in pride, living in fleshly sins, addictions, sexual impurity and having minimal to no fruit of the spirit.
When the pastor is preaching that Christians can’t have demons then they have no hope for getting delivered from them. Their only recourse is going to a medical doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist or counselor who have no godly understanding on how to get a person truly healed of their soul wounds through forgiveness and deliverance from sin and demonic strongholds through repentance.
““For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV
The majority of church attenders (including leaders) have not forgiven all who have hurt them – from their hearts. So God cannot forgive them of their sins. Thus demonic spirits have legal rights to torment them in their soul. Their souls consist of their mind (thoughts), wills and emotions. Many are also very prideful like the Pharisees. Many hear thousands of negative thoughts each day. Torment.
So what does the Bible say about people who continue to struggle in living a sin filled life, who are prideful, angry, selfish, gossip?
For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.
2 Corinthians 7:10 ESV
““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.”
I John 3:4-10 NKJV
“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:15-23 NKJV
“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
Hebrews 10:26-31 NKJV
So to truly change we need to forgive all who have ever hurt us from our hearts and repent for our pride and sin. Sin should be rare in a true believer’s life or else they will be tormented by demonic spirits.
Pastors need to preach the whole truth in the Bible and not water it down or never explain how to help people to forgive and repent and get delivered. Thus that’s why the majority of church attendees and leaders don’t have the fruit of the spirit but operate more in the fruit of their flesh.
“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Galatians 5:19-26 NKJV
There is a percentage of the church who are desperate for healing and deliverance but the pastor and leaders can’t help them because they are entrapped in their own wounds and sin and don’t know how to help get them healed and delivered. There also is a percentage of church attenders who simply don’t want to give up their sin and don’t want repent or change and are headed to hell. They are lost and don’t even realize it because they were taught all they had to do was ask Jesus into their hearts without any true change or repentance from their sin. They were hurt and never truly forgave those who hurt them. It is time for the lost within the church to get healed, delivered and set free. Christ is coming back for a pure and spotless bride. Jesus called out the Pharisees and scribes of His day as “white washed tombs” and “Hypocrites” and “Vipers” because He knew they were more concerned with their outward images. Jesus knew they hurt a lot of people who truly wanted to get healed and turn from their sin.
So it’s time for both those in church who are hurting and desperately want to be delivered to change and get set free as well as the leaders of the church who are like the Pharisees to be healed and delivered. Soul wound healing and deliverance is what is needed more than ever
“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.”
I Peter 4:17-19 NKJV
