So many people suffer from hearing thoughts from the enemy (demons) every day which causes them to never experience peace in their lives. Demons are very real and they oppress Christians every day, giving them many thoughts. The National Science Foundation did a study in 2005 which found that people can have more than 10,000 thoughts a day of which 80% of the thoughts are negative and 95% are repetitive. You simply cannot have peace when you have that many negative thoughts.
Demons cause us to ruin our lives and relationships. They give us thoughts to feel anxious, condemned, believing that good people are bad, anger, bitter, jealous, depressed, to drink alcohol, have sex outside marriage, look at porn, do drugs and smoke. They cause us to have affairs, want to harm ourselves and abuse other people. All it takes is to listen to a demonic thought to cause us to make a decision in our lives that could cause us much damage. Abortion, molesting someone, overeating for comfort, wanting to control another person to make them do what we want and cause them to want to separate from us and make us feel more rejected.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all….
So many Christians including pastors, leaders, spouses of ministry people, faithful church attenders – are oppressed with demonic voices that are louder than hearing the Holy Spirit. When you listen to demons you will NEVER have peace and you will do things that are of the flesh instead of the Spirit. You will control and hurt other people and you will be selfish. You will be sexually impure. You will justify keeping sin in your life. Your daily walk will not be godly until you go through inner healing and deliverance (being honest, forgiving people who have hurt you, humbling yourself and repenting for sin).
You need to understand how others were hurt and had demons and then hurt you. Then you need to forgive all who hurt you from your heart according to Jesus in Matthew 18:21-35. Say “I choose to forgive x from my heart for causing me to feel” and then name off all the negative emotions you felt such as rejected, not good enough, belittled, ridiculed, etc and then give all those wounds to Jesus and ask him to heal you. Then you can command the demons to go that attached to those wounds and traumas in your soul and you will feel lighter and better and not get triggered by someone who does something similar to your past. You will be more calm and you will not hear as many demonic voices in your mind. Then when the enemy tries to speak to your thoughts say “I silence the voice of the enemy in Jesus name!”
You will be able to discern the voice of the demons better and shut them down and change your thoughts to something that brings you more peace. You need to continue to stop the enemy from trying to give you thoughts after discerning just a few words from him and then you will be much more at peace every day of your life. Now if you have a relationship with someone who is also hearing from demons then they will also need to be delivered to allow you to truly experience peace in your life every day.
Once you are consistently stopping the enemy from speaking to you on a daily basis then you will hear the Lord much more clearly and live in peace the way Jesus did. Just say no! Get yourself healed and delivered and then enjoy the new-found peace every day the rest of your life.
