DEMONS GIVE YOU THOUGHTS TO INFLUENCE YOUR ACTIONS
Demons give Christians and non Christians hundreds and thousands of thoughts every day causing them to be anxious, worried, jealous, angry, feel justified, be condemned, feel guilty, ashamed, fear, etc. Most Christians are taught that demons can’t speak to their minds so are oblivious to knowing how to stop the demons from oppressing and tormenting them.
So when a Christian is unaware that demons are giving them thoughts then often they think what they are hearing is coming from the Holy Spirit or the Lord. And while many Christians have the Holy Spirit in their spirit they can still have demons attached to their souls. How can a demon torment a Holy Spirit filled believer? If the demons have a legal right to inhabit their soul then they will stay and torment them.
So what gives demons legal rights to stay in their souls? Unforgiveness according to Jesus in Matthew 18:21-35. And of course Lucifer got kicked out of heaven due to his pride and many Christians are some of the most prideful people on earth due to their religious demons. Unrepentant sin also allows demons to attach to their souls.
So demons will cause Christians to take offense instead of taking to heart godly counsel. Demons will cause Christians to think they know everything and if others don’t listen to them then they are wrong. They cause Christians to be very religious and prideful like a Pharisee. They cause Christians to justify staying in unrepentant sin and not getting delivered. They cause Christians to come against those are truly godly or look the other way and tolerate those are in sin.
So how to remove demons legal rights to torment you? Forgive everyone from your heart, repent for pride and make sin rare in your life. Then take every demonic thought captive by declaring “I silence the voice of the enemy in Jesus name” every time you hear a thought that causes you to lose your peace.
