When you walk in obedience to Jesus in holiness and righteousness you will have fake Christians and others who will be jealous and hate you greatly. God doesn’t stop your haters from making false accusations and lies about you to others. God allows them to even publicly defame and slander you causing you to feel fear and persecution so that you must use your faith to overcome and trust in God.
It’s because later God will promote and bless you greatly in the presence of your haters and for all to see in order to silence them and bring them to humiliation in order to humble themselves. The more you have remained silent in the midst of their attacks and trusted the Lord then the more God will bless you with increases in your faith, wisdom, financial increase, connections to others who promote you and more influence and anointing than you ever thought possible. One of the purposes is to try and get your haters to repent and humble themselves from their pride and sin and be delivered from their demons.
Daniel was setup by his haters when he continued to pray to God and had to endure a night in the lions den but was ultimately protected and then his haters were all eaten by the lions along with their wives and children and Daniel was promoted to manage King Darius’ kingdom. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had to go into the fire but God protected them.
Remember when Haman planned to kill thousands of Jews including Mordecai but then the Lord exposed the plans and protected Mordecai and the Jews from total annihilation. Then Mordecai was not just protected from dying but was given Haman’s palatial estate and rewarded greatly with being blessed and put into the highest position under the king! And all Mordecai’s haters lost their lives.
I Peter 3:13-18 NKJV
“And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,”
