Many do not like to have to deal with confronting others about negative behaviors, issues, concerns, and areas in their lives that need to change because of knowing how it could be uncomfortable and that the person that is being confronted can often become defensive, angry, act like a victim, raise their voice, rage, tell others lies about them, etc.
Thus many times people just don’t say anything in order to try and keep things as peaceful as possible. People who have the spirit of Jezebel (women and men) know that as they have used that against others their entire lives as they have been the aggressor, controlling others by instilling fear if they don’t get their way and by dominating others in long debates and arguments or the silent treatment to wear out those who try to challenge or bring correction.
Jezebels want their way and as long as you do exactly what they want then they will like you. Unfortunately Jezebel hates it when anyone disagrees with them and refuses to do what they want thus they thrive by having confrontations with those who hate confrontations because they can intimate and manipulate them into obeying them.
Jesus had to confront the prideful Pharisees who needed correction in their judgment of others because they had sin in their own lives (logs in their eyes). So to walk in obedience with Christ we will also need to confront negative behaviors in others who need to be corrected.
John 7:24 NKJV
“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.””
So understand that although it can feel very uncomfortable to address issues in people who you know need addressed, we need to obey Jesus and have the discussions – then if the person refuses to address their own issues and change then it’s between them and God.
