JEZEBEL WANTS TO BE THE VOICE OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE
People who operate in the Jezebel spirit (affects both women and men) want to appear to be godly and wise and hearing from the Lord. They want to be in positions of authority and power over others. They ultimately want to have others submit to them and obey. They act in a fake humility way but are actually extremely prideful.
Many are leaders in the church who want others to listen to everything they say and support their every decision and desire. They love to prey upon those who are wounded in the church. Many are wives or husbands who want their spouses to submit and obey them even when they themselves are living ungodly, selfish lives behind closed doors controlling their spouses and trying to make them ultimately to bow down and worship them. They have an insatiable lust for power and are sexually impure and try to seduce others to desire them spiritually but also sexually.
At the core Jezebel wants to convince people that you can’t hear from God and need them to hear from God for you. They want to be worshipped and idolized. They want to convince you that without them your life will fall apart and that you must rely upon them to help you make every decision. Witchcraft is controlling others and making them look to you and not to go to God for direction. In 1 and 2 Kings Jezebel worshipped Baal and tried to force God’s people to worship Baal and kill the true prophets of God. Elijah stood up to her and refused to obey and killed Jezebel’s prophets of Baal and Asherah. So disconnect from those who operate in Jezebel and obey the Lord and Holy Spirit.
Revelation 2:20-23 NKJV
“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.”
