THE LIES YOU OVERCAME INCREASED THE ANOINTING ON YOUR LIFE
Many who refuse to repent for their sin and continue to justify staying in it – will hear demons telling them that they are good and then have them lie about their own sinful behavior. They are also used by Satan to lie about others – especially those who walk in godliness and are anointed by the Lord – to try to blame and shame them and make others believe the lies they tell them so they will hate them and stop them from ministering to others. It’s because they are jealous that they can’t live a righteous life and they bear very bad fruit. They often accuse their targets of the very same thing that they are actually doing.
The 9th commandment states in Exodus 20:16, “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor”
So when others lie they are breaking a commandment and are walking in their flesh. Jesus came to earth and died for our sins not to have us stay in our sin but to repent and change and walk in truth and the fruit of the spirit. What happens when you continue to stay walking in your flesh?
Galatians 5:19-26 NKJV
“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Those who have been lied about who walk in forgiveness to those who slandered them will feel some persecution initially but ultimately will see great increases in the Lord’s anointing, more blessings then they could ever imagine and the favor of the Lord and their lives and ministries will grow even stronger as the fruit will be even greater.
I Peter 3:13-17 NKJV
“And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”
Joseph was lied about by Potiphar’s wife as she said he tried to rape her when she was the one who wanted sex with him and he refused her. He suffered for several years in prison initialy but ultimately was brought out and given the number 2 position under Pharaoh over all of Egypt.
Isaiah 54:17 NKJV
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
