So what are the common behaviors that people who have endured rejection, control, manipulation and emotional pain from a father (or mother)? What would a person exhibit towards their spouse, children or others in the work place?  Below is a list of some common traits and, if one is truly honest (and that is the key that the one reading this must be totally honest with themselves), they will probably identify with some or many of them. The more of the pain that they have endured in their life from a father that was overly controlling, rejecting, and hurtful or a mother that was void of unconditional love the more of the behaviors they will exhibit.  The more behavior traits that they exhibit the stronger the enemy spirit’s control of them will be and the harder it will be for them to admit they may have an underlying issue and the more challenging it will be for them to get free from the unhealthy control of the enemy. There is a continuum and some may only exhibit a few of the behaviors, thus the spirit is not as strong upon them although it could still be present and active.  If…

So many people around the world are afflicted by the Leviathan spirit which wraps around a person's spine and twists it, causing scoliosis, back pain, neck tightness, insomnia, becoming sleepy when reading or listening to the Word.  In some cases it even causes a person to receive Fibromyalgia and cancer.  My own grandfather was in it and I had no idea until years after he passed away. I had scoliosis and had to stop playing basketball in 7th grade. I suffered from headaches and had to go to a chiropractor on a regular basis.  So how does one get the Leviathan spirit?  You can receive it through significant emotional wounds from your father (or mother).  But you can also receive it if you had a father, grandfather or great-grandfather that was involved in the Freemasons due to a curse that comes down through the blood line because of things done in secret. So what happens to a child raised by a father (or mother) that reject them and treat them harshly?  The child grows up feeling unloved and possibly afraid of their father and most men (and if the mother treated them without love then they could have additional fear and lack of trust of women as well).  Because the child does not feel loved, and is in fear of their father, they are not free to share their hopes, dreams or true concerns in an honest way with their parent(s). Their hearts have been broken, crushed and stepped on and they feel no sense of security or protection. Consequently, the child develops feelings of rejection that can affect them the rest of their lives.  If anyone says anything to them that they do not agree with, they could be triggered to put up a wall of defense and be offended at the drop of a hat. They will offend others with their negative behaviors continuously in order to protect their own selfish interests so they can survive and thrive at the expense of those around them because they trust no one.  They look to themselves first as they feel they cannot…

Other behaviors that one can notice if Leviathan is present are impatience and running ahead of God. This can be due to over-excitement, lack of patience, lack of Godly wisdom and even desiring spiritual prominence. The Bible tells us to be zealous, but unfortunately one can be overzealous. This over-zealousness is one of the major strongholds of the Leviathan spirit that God wants to deliver us from.  He wants us to be at peace and under control, not doing a hundred things at once with constant failures in ministry and confusion. Your flesh can be over-excited and driving many of your behaviors. Instead of using God’s wisdom and timing to reveal the revelations He gives to you, you are careless, immature and want it in your timing. Patience is not a word that describes someone that is being influenced by the spirit of Leviathan.  You want it your way and you want it now.  Instead of producing fruit, these revelations cause people to become wary and cautious of you because they were not ready to 'hear' what God was saying. Many that grow up with wounds from their fathers suffer greatly and have paralyzing pain in their hearts that sometimes becomes so deep and agonizing that they never recover throughout their lifetime.  Some even die early deaths full of depression, sadness and despair.  Keep in mind there is a continuum of affect that occurs when a father causes their child pain over their youth and formative years. If the father was simply not present much, rather than being extremely abusive, then the child’s pain will be in direct proportion and the effects of the enemy on them will be as well.  The greater the pain, the greater the negative impact upon them. If they were brought up later by a step-father that was nice to them they often still suffer from the lack of love from their original earthly father the initial years of their life and thereafter. Their heart was never healed from the original pain of their biological father’s lack of presence. I was born January 2, 1967 in a small town west of Fort Wayne, Indiana named Columbia City in a hospital that my great, great, Uncle Dr. O.V. Schuman had agreed to have built by donating $50,000 (about $500,000 in 2016 dollars) to Whitley County. In order to build the hospital the county had to raise $50,000 in matching funds by a certain date and they just barely met the deadline.  Prior to the new hospital being completed people had to go to the Wolf Lake hospital but in 1951 the Whitley County Memorial Hospital opened at last.  Dr. Schuman was a caring man who once treated a man who had a farming accident and knew that the man was not well off so he only charged him 25 cents. A common spirit that is found afflicting those that are anointed is the Leviathan spirit. Usually those that have the Jezebel spirit will also have the Leviathan spirit operating in them and will need to be dealt with effectively.  A combination of Jezebel and Leviathan are extremely difficult to dislodge because the afflicted person has to command them to go.  If the person has been tormented with them for 20 or more years they will often have entrenched mindsets in place which become strongholds that will cause them to deny they have those spirits. Throughout life we have many choices that we make every day but one choice we do not have a say in is who our parents are.  Sometimes we are fortunate and have good, emotionally healthy, stable and unconditionally loving parents. We grow up feeling secure, wanted, comforted and protected.  But for many people they grow up with one or sometimes both parents who treated them with love only if they performed exactly as they were told (conditional love). Otherwise their parents might have manipulated them through fear and rejection.  They also may have leveraged an unhealthy control over their children through subtle statements and verbal anger outbursts which caused fear to force submission. In the worst cases, some children were actually abused physically and/or sexually. There are a lot of hurting children in homes throughout this fallen world whose hearts have been hurt, scarred and broken. [spacer height="20px"] The damage becomes a vicious cycle that if never dealt with causes hurting children to develop into adults who are hopeless, with feelings of confusion, rejection, depression, despair, anger and a desire to take out their pain on their loved ones through control, manipulation and abuse.  Some even get to the point…

When a young girl does not receive the unconditional love and attention of her father, she starts to hear the enemy's voice tell her that she is not loved and cannot trust her father.  As her earthly father continues to treat her harshly and more condemning, then the enemy tells her she cannot trust him, nor anyone else.  As she grows older, she is desperate for attention from another boy and often times marries as soon as she graduates from high school or soon after. Unfortunately, the enemy continues to tell her that she cannot trust the young man because, after all, he is a man.  So she begins to take out all of her pain on the young man.  She becomes controlling and manipulative and selfish.  If she gets married, this sets up a potential disaster that drives her husband away from her.  What voice was she hearing all along in her head?  It was the Jezebel and Leviathan spirits. Thus in order for her to be healed, she must first command those spirits to be gone from her, and then she can start having her old mindsets to heal.

In life we grow up and most of us hope for the best but as Forrest Gump once lamented “Momma always said, ‘Life is like a box of chocolates….you never know what you’re gonna get.’ ” If we are raised in a typical non-Christian family there is little or no faith for health or healing other than visits to the doctor or hospital.  If something happened to your health, the only way of getting better was to go to the doctor and hope that he or she could “fix” you, provided you could pay the bill.  Without medical intervention, you were given to a life of pain and misery until you die. If we are raised in a typical Christian family there is occasionally a glimmer of faith but most people are taught that God must sovereignly decide to heal so pray that He will heal you and wait to see if you get lucky.  Fortunately, I was raised in a Christian home that had some faith for supernatural healing.
