When you grew up as a child were you raised by two loving parents who protected you from those in the world who wanted to hurt you?  Did you feel loved unconditionally? Were you spoken to gently, encouraged, and cared for in ways that made you feel safe? Or were you hurt by a parent, step-parent or sexually violated causing you to feel like you could not trust those in authority over you?  For most people in the world the trust that developed in them with their parents was shaken as the enemy caused their parents or others to harm them through words, actions and trauma which caused them to not feel safe or protected. When a child grows up not being able to trust their own parents who were supposed to protect and love them without conditions - their ability to trust God is impacted dramatically.  They have thoughts in their minds telling them that they cannot trust their mom or dad.  That they are not loved.  That they cannot trust anyone because if their parents let them down, how can anyone else be trusted to protect and love them. People who grow up with fathers / mothers / step parents who hurt them by either not being involved in their lives, were overly controlling, all the way to abusive, as well as those who had sexual violations (incest, molested, touched, raped, etc) will begin to hear the enemy giving them thoughts to not trust anyone, control others so you won't be hurt again, lie if you need to, get angry so you will get your way, which are all based in fear, and they will have a strong prideful spirit.  They partner with the spirits of Jezebel (1 & 2 Kings, Revelation 2:18-23)/ Leviathan (Job 41) and are controlled by the thoughts that come to them by the spirits.  They look to find marriage partners and others in relationship who have the spirit of Ahab who do not like confrontation, are weak spiritual leaders, allow people to control and manipulate them, and often times are fearful of being rejected. Most all marriages include one spouse who operates in the spirit of Jezebel to and the other has the spirit of Ahab.  Jezebel is the taker and Ahab the giver. Every person in the world hears voices whether they want to admit it or not. Many of the voices are coming from the enemy which cause people to do things that align with the enemy (fear, control, manipulation, lying, sexual sins, pride, selfishness, anger, etc).  Some of the voices we hear in our minds come from the Lord or Holy Spirit.  And some voices are our own thoughts.  Far too many people who attend church are hearing the enemy's voice and have no idea.  Unfortunately these people make choices that cause them to never have peace, strive over most things and have broken relationships and children who are hurt and want nothing to do with them. Hearing one thought from the enemy can cause a person to ruin a quiet evening, cause their spouse to cry, and cause a child to feel unloved.  People need to discern every thought that comes into their minds to determine if it is from the enemy, the Holy Spirit or the Lord or their own thoughts.  Too many people who attend church think every thought they have is from the Lord or their own mind and go with it. Unfortunately most relationships and marriages in the world are not at peace and are simply miserable.  More than half of all marriages end in divorce (both believers in Christ and non-believers).  Hearts are broken as people simply want to be unconditionally loved.  What is the main reason behind all of this mess?  In one word it comes down to this.  Demons. Demons are alive and well in the world as they have been since the earth was created by God and 1/3 of the angels were cast out of heaven with their leader Lucifer (now Satan).  Demons torment people in their minds and thus cause them to buy into their suggestions in their minds to hurt themselves and other people.  Demons torment both non-believers and those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior as long as their legal right to stay tormenting them is still intact.  One of the reasons they can continue to torment a believer's soul is because they have unforgiveness in their heart towards someone who offended or hurt them. Another reason is because they have a strong spirit of pride that causes them to behave arrogantly and thinking they are better than other people.…

So many Christians are tormented in their minds every day with thoughts that flood them throughout the day from the enemy.  They have no idea that their thoughts are not all their own because the church fails to teach them at a level that they can truly understand. They talk about taking their thoughts captive but fail to give them tools to actually do it on a day to day basis.  What good is it to memorize Bible scriptures yet never feeling at peace, love or joy on a daily basis?  We as a church must do a better job at explaining to people that Christ died on the cross and then gave us His authority to do the very same things that He did while on earth.  We simply must take His authority and walk it out. When we hear a thought that comes to us that causes us to be in fear, anger, take an offense, we must recognize that the thought is from the enemy and to shut the thought down immediately.  So many people have been hurt by their parents growing up or have been molested, had incest or raped and the enemy now has legal…

The Lord told me this morning that it is time to no longer be on the defensive with the enemy but to go on the offensive.  When we are in a defensive position in sports we are trying to survive an attack and cover ourselves up for protection.  I have been staying at a home near San Antonio this weekend and watched a UFC fighter on TV who was retreating and trying to block the punches and kicks from his attacker.  It was very sad as he fell to the ground and was being punched several times before the official called the fight and gave the match to the victor. The Lord showed me today that He wants us to be the aggressor when it comes to the enemy and to cause him to cower and fall down until the fight is called and you are rewarded the victory. So just how do we do that? So many in this world have the spirit of Ahab and tolerate those who operate in the controlling, manipulative and threatening spirit of Jezebel.  One needs to break free from the spirit of Ahab so that they can stand up for purity, righteousness and…

There are so many people in the world who have put their own lives in the hands of their mate to complete them and are missing Christ's mark by a wide margin.  The Lord is calling his men and women to come up to a higher standard of purity, righteousness and walking as a mighty man or woman of valor and to stop lowering their standards to that of their ungodly spouse or future spouse.  God is waking up His people to realize that if you put your faith in a man or woman whose lives are not as they should be, in order to keep you from feeling lonely, then you have already missed the mark.  We should be living a life pleasing to God in all ways, freed from any demons that have a right to torment us, and then we will be healthy to either pick a mate who is also healthy, or if we are already married - to live in obedience to Christ completely. There are so many single people who are compromising their values, respect and honor, in order to be in relationship with another person.  Unfortunately these "other persons" many times are not…

This morning after I woke up from a dream, the Lord told me that He wanted me to write a blog talking about love.  That there are so many people in the world who have been hurt by other people and just want to be loved unconditionally by someone.  The Lord also told me to correlate what is actually happening on a spiritual level to cause people to hurt other people, thus causing so many to have broken hearts and not be able to trust anyone to love them again.  Therefore that is the focus of my blog today. There is a song by the Beetles called "All you need is love" that has as a part of the song the following lyrics: "All you need is love, All you need is love, All you need is love, love, Love is all you need" So many people in the world want someone to love them, yet do not see themselves in the world as those who are married to them see them.  Women in particular want their husband to unconditionally love them, listen to them express their concerns, hopes and dreams, hug them, cuddle with them, put their arms around them, hold…
