People who operate in evil (listening to demons and behaving in demonic ways) are filled with pride and think that they can control people forever and get away with more and more evil things. The prideful spirits in them (Leviathan – Job 41) cause them to do more outrageous behavior and come against godly people in ways that you would never even think to attempt let alone do. They are often conditioned to getting people to do what they want simply because they have always gotten away with it as they just have to throw an adult temper tantrum, yell a lot, have a personal riot, and then just threaten someone that they will lie about them to others or on social media or “expose” them to get their victims to bow down to their demands. It’s no fun to be the recipient of this demonic behavior but the less that you do to respond to their threats to cause fear or allow yourself to be controlled, the more God will do to protect you and help you overcome and be blessed while they will be cursed.
Matthew 5:11-12 NKJV
11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
What usually happens is a person who has been hurt deeply in their past through wounds to their soul (mind, will & emotions) from their father, mother, step parent or anyone as well as any sexual violations will have demons speaking to their minds in their thoughts and they will behave badly and ungodly. Many are in the church who have not been healed of their wounds yet hear from demons. Many are also outside the church as well.
They grew up in pain and the demons are causing them to take out their anger, bitterness, feelings of rejection and abandonment and sexual perversion on other people. They are used to getting mad and throwing fits to get their way and it works most of the time. But as they continue to operate that way eventually the Lord says “enough is enough!” and they experience consequences. The Lord gives people time to repent but when they refuse He will step in and their lives will usually suffer some adverse circumstances and those who have been abused by them who keep their hearts soft and forgive will be rewarded with blessings and His favor. Unfortunately many in the church will take an offense against people who hurt them and then try to pay them back by taking vengeance upon them and that will not go well for them.
Deuteronomy 32:35 NKJV
35 Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;
Their foot shall slip in due time;
For the day of their calamity is at hand,
And the things to come hasten upon them.’
Romans 12:19 NKJV
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
It is so important that we do not try to do what is God’s job. We must forgive all those who have hurt us and give them to the Lord. Then He will do what needs to be done in His timing. Just keep your peace on and ignore the people who come against you as much as you are able (do not read their texts, emails, threats or listen to their voice mails).
Exodus 14:14 NKJV
14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
There is a saying that absolute power absolutely corrupts and there is truth in that. People who are operating in the demonic are used to telling others what to do and think they can get away with murder but eventually when the Lord says “time is up” then you will see their lives crumble.
Isaiah 48:22 NKJV
22 “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”
When you suffer for righteousness sake you will be blessed by the Lord. I have seen it time and time again in my life. When I suffer abuse and lies, and say nothing publicly in my defense, the Lord always has rewarded me with blessings, gifts, favor, more peace and an increase in anointing.
1 Peter 3:8-18 NKJV
Called to Blessing
8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; 9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
11 Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
Suffering for Right and Wrong
13 And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16 having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
Christ’s Suffering and Ours
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,”
Pride is ultimately what collapses those who do evil. They are listening to the demons strongly in their minds and believe that they can do anything to anyone at any time they want – just like Satan. Jezebel was finally conquered by Jehu as he came to town and had the eunuchs shove her out of the window. When Satan overplayed his hand with God he got kicked out of heaven and it was due to his pride.
Ezekiel 28:1-24 NKJV
Proclamation Against the King of Tyre
28 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying, 2 “Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, ‘Thus says the Lord God:
“Because your heart is lifted up,
And you say, ‘I am a god,
I sit in the seat of gods,
In the midst of the seas,’
Yet you are a man, and not a god,
Though you set your heart as the heart of a god
3 (Behold, you are wiser than Daniel!
There is no secret that can be hidden from you!
4 With your wisdom and your understanding
You have gained riches for yourself,
And gathered gold and silver into your treasuries;
5 By your great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches,
And your heart is lifted up because of your riches),”
6 ‘Therefore thus says the Lord God:
“Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god,
7 Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers against you,
The most terrible of the nations;
And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom,
And defile your splendor.
8 They shall throw you down into the Pit,
And you shall die the death of the slain
In the midst of the seas.
9 “Will you still say before him who slays you,
‘I am a god’?
But you shall be a man, and not a god,
In the hand of him who slays you.
10 You shall die the death of the uncircumcised
By the hand of aliens;
For I have spoken,” says the Lord God.’ ”
Lamentation for the King of Tyre
11 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God:
“You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created.
14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.
16 “By the abundance of your trading
You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned;
Therefore I cast you as a profane thing
Out of the mountain of God;
And I destroyed you, O covering cherub,
From the midst of the fiery stones.
17 “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground,
I laid you before kings,
That they might gaze at you.
18 “You defiled your sanctuaries
By the multitude of your iniquities,
By the iniquity of your trading;
Therefore I brought fire from your midst;
It devoured you,
And I turned you to ashes upon the earth
In the sight of all who saw you.
19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you;
You have become a horror,
And shall be no more forever.” ’ ”
Proclamation Against Sidon
20 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 21 “Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against her, 22 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God:
“Behold, I am against you, O Sidon;
I will be glorified in your midst;
And they shall know that I am the Lord,
When I execute judgments in her and am hallowed in her.
23 For I will send pestilence upon her,
And blood in her streets;
The wounded shall be judged in her midst
By the sword against her on every side;
Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
24 “And there shall no longer be a pricking brier or a painful thorn for the house of Israel from among all who are around them, who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord God.”
So keep your peace on and watch the Lord defend, protect , and bless you and hold your enemies accountable for what they have done by giving them consequences.
Revelation 2:18-23 NKJV
The Corrupt Church
18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,
‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
