They are used to getting people to give them what they want when they get angry and threaten and intimidate them in fear. SATAN HAS HIS SECRET AGENTS IN THE CHURCH Many of Satan’s people attend church, prophesy, teach, lead worship, preach and look ever so religious and spiritual, dressed in church appropriate clothing and are in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s or older so you would never suspect that they could possibly be evil. Some of them pray in tongues (often demonic tongues), act like they intercede in prayer for others, but will seek out to mentor people who have been emotionally hurt and broken in their lives as they are easy targets. When we get hurt growing up demons will give us thoughts to deceive us trying to get us to trust in their voices and then take their destructive advice. Many will believe that these voices have their best interest at heart when the truth couldn’t be any further away. The demons will tempt us to sin, be sexually impure, choose to drink alcohol, smoke, take drugs, over eat, lie, gossip, slander, control other people, abuse our spouse and children, etc. We will justify fleshly behavior. Many of us have been wrongly taught that Christians can’t be affected by demons. That’s a lie. If we believe that we aren’t impacted by demonic thoughts then we will suffer in our lives by hurting others and sabotaging our relationships. CHURCH LEADERS OFTEN ABUSE THE VICTIMS OF ABUSE Sadly many who are in relationships with people will get hurt and abused. The victim tolerates the abuse over time and eventually either gets beaten down enough that they give up on ever getting freed and die or they muster up enough courage to go to someone at their church or a counselor to try and get help to confront their abuser. Sadly most don’t get proper help because the abuser, who operates in demons, will be very persuasive and convince the pastor or counselor that the main problem is their true victim by acting like they are innocent and having private communication implicating the victim. They buddy up with the counselor and get them to give advice that allows them control over the victim and even blaming the victim. And often the abuser will be more intimidating as the victim is easier to blame and the path of least resistance. MANY MINISTER INCORRECTLY FROM THEIR OWN EXPERIENCES & PERSPECTIVE Often people minister incorrectly from what they have personally experienced in their own lives. They project their own experience on others whose situations could have some similarities or not be anything alike. For instance, if a pastor has never been emotionally abused by his wife then when he counsels a man who has endured years of abuse from a wife struggling with the Jezebel spirit then the pastor cannot understand what that would be like. So his counsel could be to “Just love her like Christ until she changes” or “Pray in tongues every day for 30 minutes” or “Fast for a week” or “do what she wants you to do” of which nothing works to change the man’s wife to behave in a loving and godly way because Jezebel will not leave the woman by doing those things due to legal rights to stay (unforgiveness, pride, sin) and the woman’s freewill.
