Jezebel ruled over the men and women of God in 1 and 2 Kings killing many of the Lord’s prophets and instilling fear over anyone who dared to defy her. She married King Ahab who gave her authority to control people in her kingdom and force Baal worship on the people which included the killing and sacrificing of babies. Ahab, was a weak man, and became a willing instrument in Jezebel’s hands and offended the Lord God more than any king before him. The worst of his many sins was his marriage to the idol-loving Jezebel. He, an Israelite king, began serving Baal—because of her and with her.
Baal required the sacrifice of children, often the first-born male child, by sacrifice via fire. They would put fire under the hands of the god Molech and take the babies and tickle them to get them to laugh before placing them in the red-hot hands of Molech and then they would scream as they were being burned alive while beating on drums to drown out the noise of their cries and their parents. Another popular goddess worshiped in the days of Jezebel was Ashtareth, a deity associated with perverse sexuality and fertility.
Jezebel defined everything evil and wicked and her desire was to steal, kill and destroy all of God’s prophets and His people. Jezebel epitomized the evil within Satan and nothing would stop her from lying, manipulating, controlling, murdering, and boasting with such pride that no one would dare ever think of stopping her. Elijah stood up to her but after killing her 850 prophets (450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Ashtoreth) on Mount Carmel, one threat from her caused him to run to a cave and hide and ask God to allow him to die.
Elijah’s Mount Carmel Victory – 1 Kings 18:20-40
20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. 22 Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23 Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it. 24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”
So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.”
25 Now Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one bull for yourselves and prepare it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it.”
26 So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made.
27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them. 29 And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.
30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Israel shall be your name.” 32 Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood, and said, “Fill four waterpots with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood.” 34 Then he said, “Do it a second time,” and they did it a second time; and he said, “Do it a third time,” and they did it a third time. 35 So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water.
36 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. 37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”
38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”
40 And Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!” So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there.
You would think after this major defeat of the enemy that Elijah would have such a boldness and confidence but it only took one threat from Jezebel to send him running in fear like a castrated eunuch like so many people today who receive threats from people operating in the spirit of Jezebel and bowing down to the spirit in fear and doing whatever ungodly thing they demand.
Elijah Escapes from Jezebel 1 Kings 19:1-4
19 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. 2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” 3 And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!”
It wasn’t until the Lord anointed Jehu as king that he came to confront Jezebel and finally stood up to her, but who was it who actually caused her death? It was the castrated men who received boldness to stand up and help him take her out by shoving her out of a window.
Jezebel’s Violent Death 2 Kings 9:30-37
30 Now when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and looked through a window. 31 Then, as Jehu entered at the gate, she said, “Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of your master?”
32 And he looked up at the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” So two or three eunuchs looked out at him. 33 Then he said, “Throw her down.” So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot. 34 And when he had gone in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “Go now, see to this accursed woman, and bury her, for she was a king’s daughter.” 35 So they went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands. 36 Therefore they came back and told him. And he said, “This is the word of the Lord, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel; 37 and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as refuse on the surface of the field, in the plot at Jezreel, so that they shall not say, “Here lies Jezebel.” ’ ”
So God is calling on all those who have felt castrated by people operating in the spirit of Jezebel to rise up and take the control back from her. So many people around the world have obeyed Jezebel in fear of his/her threats over them in their spouses, friends, church leaders, workforce, government. But God is now exposing their lies, deceit, anger, control, pride, manipulation as more people have been shedding light on the spirit and more people’s eyes are now open to the truth around the world. God is raising up Jehu’s around the world and they are asking for people who have been castrated (both men and women) to rise up and help take control away from those operating in Jezebel. To defeat Jezebel you must not have fear over his/her threats and call it like it is. You will receive a new fresh boldness to expose the truth and stop tolerating the evilness of the workings of those operating in that spirit.
People operate in the spirit of Jezebel because of having wounds from their own mothers, fathers, step parents or sexual violations. The demons begin to speak to them and tell them they cannot trust anyone so they control, manipulate and dominate other people doing the work of the enemy and trying to shut down good people, ministries and ruin their own marriages and hurting their children. The only way they can get delivered from hearing the voices of the demons is to truly forgive all those who have hurt them, and repent for their pride (spirit of Leviathan in Job 41) and then command their demons to go.
Pastors need to rise up and no longer cower but be bold to speak the truth and not tolerate those under them to control them through threats. Spouses are rising up and no longer allowing themselves to be bullied, emotionally, physically and sexually. When you rise up to take the control back from those who have bullied you there will be a very real spiritual battle that will go on. The enemy will threaten you like Jezebel did but you must not come under the fear that they will try to instill on you. Rise up and the Lord will anoint you with boldness like Jehu and the eunuchs who were castrated. Rise up and take back all that the Lord has promised you and called you to do. Do what is right and God will reward you for His sake. We can no longer stand by and watch Jezebel ruin our lives and others. No more slaughtering of innocent babies through abortion. No more tolerating people to stop the flow of the Holy Spirit in church. No more allowing leaders to take you down a path to destruction. It is time to rise up, you Jehu’s in the land, and take back what God is calling you to do. It is time to be a mighty man or woman of valor for the Lord.
Psalm 44:5 “Through You we will push down our enemies; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever.”
We need churches in UK to speak about this.
Yes you do – it is very dark there with all the Freemasons that infiltrated the churches.
