How many negative thoughts do you have each day? Thoughts that cause you to have fear. To think a lustful, impure sexual thought? To have thoughts of anger, jealousy, betrayal, rejection, have bitterness, pride, lying…all these are demonic and when you hear a couple thousand of these every day – it will be impossible for you to have godly fruit in your life. Fruit like love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. So many people who attend church struggle every day to try to be good yet failing due to being inundated with negative thoughts from demons and then agreeing with those thoughts. This is the true invisible enemy that is a worldwide pandemic that has been going on for centuries.
People who get wounded in their lives from their mother, father, siblings, relatives, friends or enemies will hear demonic thoughts in their minds. Their souls have been wounded. Souls are comprised of their mind (thoughts), wills (free wills to choose) and emotions (anger, joy, selfishness, selflessness, jealousy, etc). The National Science Foundation did a study in 2005 and found that some people have up to 50-60,000 thoughts a day of which 80% of their thoughts are negative and 95% are repetitive of the day before. Those are thoughts coming from demons and they torment both Christians and non-Christians alike. That is why 50% of those in the church are divorced and most people behave in the flesh and are not able to consistently have fruit of the spirit.
Galatians 5:16-26 NKJV
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
If we don’t get our soul wounds healed by Jesus and then cast out the demons tormenting our thoughts we will simply not be able to have good fruit. If you listen to demons more than the Holy Spirit – then you will do what they say so they won’t yell at you by disobeying their instructions in your mind. If you could see the demons speaking to your mind – you would never listen to them, but they are invisible and they convince you that they are your thoughts and that your thoughts will always be the best for you. Unfortunately once you make a bad decision then they will condemn you.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high (prideful) thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
Most Christians listen to their demonic thoughts because they have unforgiveness from people who have hurt them and pride that always comes in to convince them that they cannot trust anyone else to protect them so they must make their own decisions which are based on their demonic thoughts. So the only way that a person can be set free from their demons tormenting their minds are through inner healing and deliverance to take away their legal rights.
To be healed from your past wounds just remember what happened to you that hurt you deeply (maybe hundreds of wounds from a father or mother or step-parent) and then command the demonic spirits to separate from your soul, then ask Jesus to come and give you a word of understanding as to why your father or mother or anyone else hurt you. Why did they do what they did. Then Jesus will tell you that usually those people were hurt in their pasts and were hearing demons and did the bad things to you because of that. Then you can tell Jesus that you forgive them and ask Him to heal their soul wounds and your wounds. Then you have taken away the legal rights of the demons and can then command the demons to go to the pit and you will not get tormented by them anymore. You will not get triggered and go off on a person. You will have peace in your mind and be able to start being calm and have humility. You will then be able to have more fruit of the spirit in your life.
Until you take away the legal rights of the demons from tormenting your thoughts your life will be a mess and your relationships will be broken. You simply cannot have peace and walk in humility and the fruit of the spirit as long as you hear thousands of thoughts from demons every day. You will continue to lie, get angry, be jealous, feel rejected, betrayed, have sexual perverse thoughts and behaviors and be a mess. You will be a fake Christian.
Matthew 7:15-23 NKJV
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
So be honest, choose to forgive everyone who ever hurt you from your heart, repent for your pride and sin with godly sorrow and sincerity, and command all demons out of you and send them to the pit in Jesus name. You will then have peace, joy and the fruit of the spirit and enjoy your life and have healthy relationships. God loves you and wants you to be honest with Him and then will help you heal from your past wounds and walk in the fullness of Christ.
