GOD GIVES US THE HOLY SPIRIT SO WE CAN GET DELIVERED FROM OUR DEMONIC SPIRITS
So many Christians have been told lies that when they get the Holy Spirit that all demons have to leave them. They are told demonic spirits and the Holy Spirit can’t coexist in the same person.
In reality most people still behave in ungodly and sinful ways after they “ask Jesus into their hearts.” It’s because they still need deliverance from their demons that attached to their soul. They still have sin that is plentiful in their lives, pride, unforgiveness, anger, sicknesses, gossip, lying and sexual sin. Sadly the truth is that most will still have more fruit of the flesh than they do the spirit after spending years in the church. Just because you make an initial decision to follow Christ (or “ask Jesus into your heart”) doesn’t mean that demons have to leave your soul (mind, will and emotions). In fact they won’t leave you as long as they have legal rights to stay. Why would they leave you alone if you are giving them rights to stay through unforgiveness, pride and sin?
Derek Prince stated that some of the most dangerous people in the world are those with the Holy Spirit and demonic spirits, which describes many church attenders sadly. It’s because these people know how to act like Christians in public, attending church regularly, giving tithes, some operating with the gifts of tongues and being able to prophesy but then they continue to behave in evil fleshly ways behind closed doors with anger, jealousy, pride, sexual impurity, lust, control, manipulation, lying, gossip and hurting people. He said we get the Holy Spirit in order to help guide us to get delivered of our demonic spirits by forgiving those who hurt us completely from our hearts, repenting for pride and sin. We need to still get healed of our soul wounds (wounds from our childhood and beyond) through forgiving all who hurt us (like Jesus taught in Matthew 6:14-15 and Matthew 18:21-35) repenting for our pride and sin and getting delivered from demonic spirits so we can eventually walk in the fruit of the spirit with sin being rare in our lives.
Jesus said to Peter in Matthew 18:32-35 NKJV:
32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”
Being turned over to the torturers is symbolic of having demons torment you in your thoughts (your mind is a part of your soul) and can affect you with infirmities in your body (sickness) due to unforgiveness and bitterness.
We all have free will and many don’t finish the process of sanctification and continue to live a very sinful life behind closed doors and then die and don’t make it into heaven. The Pharisees and scribes of Jesus’ days are alive and well in today’s world as more than half of all pastors look at porn regularly and live a sinful life behind closed doors. So many “Christians” are emotionally abusive in private to their spouse or children living corrupt lives. Some are acting like Christians but then doing witchcraft on people, cursing them and even astral projecting to monitor them.
When we make a decision to serve Jesus and obey the Bible we need to next go through the process of getting healed of our soul wounds and delivered from demonic spirits, fleshly behavior and evil thoughts. We need to go through the sanctification process of being delivered from sin being a common thing in our lives. This explains why 57% of all pastors have lust problems and look at pornography and masturbate. 64% of youth pastors look at porn and then look at our youth. 75% of men who attend church view porn regularly. 33% of women 25 and under look at porn. It’s because they were exposed to it as children and never got delivered from their demons after accepting Christ.
Demons attach to our soul (mind, will and emotions) due to unforgiveness, pride and sin while the Holy Spirit attaches to our spirit. So when Christians don’t choose to obey the Holy Spirit and the Bible they don’t see their lives changed to living for the Lord with fruit of the spirit and they still live ungodly lives of the world. They have not truly repented for their sin and turned to the Lord. They embrace the world and sin and their flesh.
Wikipedia states that Salvation is (from Latin: salvatio, from salva, ‘safe, saved’) is the state of being saved or protected from harm or a dire situation. In religion and theology, salvation generally refers to the deliverance of the soul from sin and its consequences.
So what does the Bible say about living lives for Christ? How does a real healed and delivered Christian live like?
““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.”
I John 3:4-10 NKJV
“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:15-23 NKJV
“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
Hebrews 10:26-31 NKJV
“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
I John 2:3-6 NKJV
When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.””
1 Corinthians 5:9-13 NLT
For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come— and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.”
Hebrews 6:4-6 NLT
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness (unholy), lewdness (sexually impure / lustful), idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions (strife, conflict, contention), heresies (denial of a core doctrine of Christian faith) , envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries (partying), and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I halso told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Galatians 5:16-26 NKJV
Thus we need to make a decision to forgive all who have ever hurt us. Ask Jesus to help you forgive by showing you all those who hurt you and you will see they were all hurt. Then repent for your pride and sin. Then command all demons to go to the pit and walk in the fruit of the spirit, in humility and sexual purity. Complete the process of sanctification in Christ so that demons will not have legal rights to torment you and you can walk in the fruit of the spirit, humility and sexual purity.
