WHEN WE ALLOW ANYONE TO BE AN IDOL BEFORE THE LORD WE ALLOW THEIR DEMONS TO TORMENT US

WHEN WE ALLOW ANYONE TO BE AN IDOL BEFORE THE LORD WE ALLOW THEIR DEMONS TO TORMENT US

Many of us have made idols before the Lord. Food, alcohol, drugs, money, smoking, gambling, etc

But what about people? A parent, spouse or child?

Many have a parent who operates in the Jezebel spirit who want you to submit to them over God. Making you submit to their demons.

Many are married to a spouse who has Jezebel and they want you to obey them over God. They want you to submit to their demons. So they will threaten you and control you to get you to bow down to their demons who will cause you mental anguish and physical sickness.

I went to church with a couple who was in my Sunday school adult class for parents. Her husband seemed very sweet and kind. But behind closed doors he was horrible to his children and her. He was sexually molested by his father. He had demons. She slowly died of a brain tumor due to his daily words of evil. He got remarried and she got sick within a year. Now he has cancer as his demons know he has been used by them to hurt those closest to him and now have turned against him.

““You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

““Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭34‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.” So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:28-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Judah has dealt treacherously, And an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem, For Judah has profaned The Lord’s holy institution which He loves: He has married the daughter of a foreign god. May the Lord cut off from the tents of Jacob The man who does this, being awake and aware, Yet who brings an offering to the Lord of hosts! And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the Lord with tears, With weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, “For what reason?” Because the Lord has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. “For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.” You have wearied the Lord with your words; Yet you say, “In what way have we wearied Him?” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the Lord, And He delights in them,” Or, “Where is the God of justice?””
‭‭Malachi‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
