So many people in the world have been hurt when growing up and then later in life. We can be hurt many different ways, from one or both of our parents or step-parents, siblings, relatives, friends, people who have rejected you in relationships, teachers, ministry people, your fellow workers, sexual violations, etc.
What happens when someone hurts us (emotionally, physically or sexually)? If you were younger when it occurred (perhaps your parents divorced, one parent was more verbally abusive to you or worse, a neighbor, etc.) you are not able to cope and understand so what usually happens is your soul (mind, will & emotions) has a piece that becomes an alternate personality which holds the toxic emotion or pain so your core person can continue to function. Then whenever something triggers that wound in you then your alternate personality comes up in your and you behave in an erratic way (anger, fear, rejection, jealousy, etc.) You are hearing demonic voices at that time which causes you to manifest in a different personality.
So as we get hurt a lot when growing up we often manifest with negative personalities throughout our lifetime and have relationships that never have peace or true love and the enemy spirits will usually cause us not to take responsibility for our own negative reactions and blame others thus never getting truly set free. The demonic spirits block us from seeing things in ourselves and we never own our own issues so our issues own us.
This is the main reason for couples fighting and arguing and why people choose to divorce is because of unhealed soul wounds and the demons tormenting their thoughts. So many people go to counselors, pastors, psychologists but yet never get to the root issue because they talk about how they need to behaviorally change but it is impossible to simply behave better if you are hearing demonic thoughts in your head every day. How many negative thoughts does the average person have? The National Science Foundation did a study in 2005 and found up to 50-60,000 thoughts a day of which 80% are negative and 95% repetitive. When a person gets their past soul wounds healed and delivered from the demons tormenting them their mind is much more at peace and they are calmer as their normal core person is able to operate instead of their alternate personalities.
So how do we get freed so we can enjoy our lives and not have major issues every day? We need to remember the various traumas and wounds that we experienced and then ask Jesus to come speak to us about those painful memories so we can have our souls healed. Then once the wounds are healed we can command the demons that attached to those wounds to go to the pit in Jesus name. Then we can truly forgive everyone who has hurt us as we will understand that the only reason people hurt us (rejection, verbal or physical or sexual abuse, being lied to, betrayed, etc.) is because those people were hurt and were affected by their own demons to torment us.
We must be honest with ourselves for the process to work because if we lie about the negative things we have done in life then the enemy will still be able to have a legal right to torment us. When we get our soul wounds healed then we can command the demons that attached to those wounds, traumas and memories to go to the pit in Jesus name and then we will not get triggered anymore on people.
We also must repent for our pride as the spirit of Leviathan (Job 41) is over all the children of pride and always comes in when people get hurt deeply so it can blind them from seeing all the wrong things that they have done in life. We also need to repent of all sin we have done in our lives and all those we have hurt.
It is a beautiful thing when we have done all that we need to do on our end as then Jesus can do what needs to be done to heal and restore us back to freedom in Christ. We can then enjoy our lives and have our childlike innocence restored.
There are billions of people who attend church who need to have their soul wounds healed and be delivered from the demons tormenting them (not to mention all the billions who do not attend church). There is a major purification process that needs to be done within the church to truly help people operate as a true Christian and become a part of the remnant (bride of Christ). Too many people think just because they attend church every week that they are saved but the Lord looks upon their heart and mind and what fruit comes out of them. Are we doing the will of the Father?
Jeremiah 17:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
10 I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.
Galatians 5:16-26 New King James Version (NKJV)
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
Matthew 7:21-23 New King James Version (NKJV)
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Hebrews 12:14-15 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
The Lord does love all of us but He is a just God and we have to do our part to pursue Him and truly have fruit to prove that we are really Christlike and not just act like it on Sunday mornings and then live like the world and hurt people the rest of the week. Jesus is coming back for a pure and spotless bride.
