Have you ever thought about the seeds that you sowed when you were younger will eventually turn into a harvest of what you planted once you get older? Thus if you treat people with love, kindness and goodness and walk in humility the Lord sees that and will eventually bless you with a good harvest (often it can be later in your life when you are in your 40’s, 50’s or after you have suffered and endured many soul wounds as the Lord will use it later in your life) as long as you choose to forgive all who have hurt you in your past, humbled yourself from your pride and repented for your own sin and aligned your life with Christ. Conversely if you treat people with evil, controlling, lying, pride and sexual sin then you could reap a harvest of failure, pain, loneliness, sickness and death.
Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
It is amazing to see this play out in people’s lives over and over again. I minister to many people who have been hurt deeply when they grew up by a parent, relative, neighbor, stranger, church people, teachers, etc., which gives legal rights to demons to give them thoughts which cause them to get hurt and then they will do things to hurt other people. But those who get healed and delivered and truly forgive those who have hurt them will produce good fruit and love people like Christ and then the Lord is able to bless them with His favor and blessings. People who do not choose to get healed and delivered or choose to forgive those who hurt them (most people in the world including those in the church) will sow bad seeds over their life which will ultimately produce bad fruit.
Luke 6:45 NKJV
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
When we choose to obey the Lord there are great blessings that will eventually come upon us (although we may have to go through some pain in order to finally receive the blessings). When we choose to sin against the Lord there will eventually be calamity (even though it may not come against us initially).
Leviticus 26:1-17 NKJV
Promise of Blessing and Retribution
26 ‘You shall not make idols for yourselves;
neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves;
nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it;
for I am the Lord your God.
2 You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary:
I am the Lord.
3 ‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing;
you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid;
I will rid the land of evil beasts,
and the sword will not go through your land.
7 You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you.
8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight;
your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.
9 ‘For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.
10 You shall eat the old harvest, and clear out the old because of the new.
11 I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you.
12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.
13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves;
I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.
14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments,
15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant,
16 I also will do this to you:
I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart.
And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies.
Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.
When you choose to align your life with Christ the Lord will use you in powerful ways to help other people get set free from their torment and pain. If you choose to align your life with sin then you will be giving legal rights to demons to ultimately hurt you. There are many who choose to take vengeance upon those they view as doing them wrong but things will not go well for them because that is the Lord’s responsibility.
Colossians 3:1-17 NKJV
Not Carnality but Christ
3 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.
Character of the New Man
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
I have seen in my life when I was delivered in September 2008 that God began to talk to me and I decided to do what He told me and have never been the same. I chose to serve Him in my life and God began to bless me greatly, even though some of the things He asked me to do had short term painful consequences, but longer-term great benefits and blessings. God directed me to travel America and He would provide for me in my finances without having to ask anyone for money or assistance. He provided places for me to stay as people opened up their homes for me. He had people sow money into my ministry and even buy me a car. Lives were being changed dramatically. Marriages were being saved for those who chose to get healed and delivered. Those with demons raged against me because they hated the good fruit that came out of our ministry. God allowed me to continue to travel and minister around America in Marriott hotels during the pandemic of 2020. I did 70 events in 50 cities in 30 states which was the busiest I had ever been in ministry since 2015. I learned about soul wounds and how to have Jesus get people healed and to forgive those who hurt them and get their demons delivered. I have enjoyed my life more than ever in 2021 as God has blessed me with amazing new connections.
So it is true that when we live ungodly lives of fleshly desires and sin that we are sowing seeds that will produce a harvest of pain, curses and death later in life. When we sow a life full of godly sacrifice, love and compassion that has good fruit of the spirit then we will see a harvest of joy, blessings and life. God is a good God and wants to bless us – but we need to do our part of coming out of agreement with Satan so that we can be blessed.
