COULD YOUR SPOUSE’S SIN CAUSE YOU TO DIE EARLY?

COULD YOUR SPOUSE’S SIN CAUSE YOU TO DIE EARLY? In Acts 5:1-11 Sapphira was married to Ananias.  Ananias came up with a plan and told his wife Sapphira to lie to Peter about how much they received for selling their property. They kept back some of it but told Peter that it was the full price. The Holy Spirit told Peter that Ananias lied to him and then Ananias died.  Sapphira didn’t know he died and 3 hours later Peter asked her if the money he received from Ananias was the total amount and she lied and said yes. She immediately lost her life.  I personally knew a couple who attended my church and the husband was emotionally abusive to his kids and his wife. She chose to stay in the marriage because those at church told her that God hated divorce and eventually she developed a brain tumor due to the constant verbal abuse from her husband. She died at age 49. He then got remarried to a healthy woman who shortly began to get sick after a year again due to his emotional abuse. He was sexually abused by his father and had demons and now he has…

JESUS PREACHED REPENTANCE AS A CONDITION OF SALVATION

JESUS PREACHED REPENTANCE AS A CONDITION OF SALVATION The meaning of the word Salvation is the deliverance from sin and its consequences. Sin separates us from Jesus. Jesus preached repentance as a condition to salvation 19 times and called the church to repent 7 times in the Book of Revelation. One of the assignments of demons is to speak to the minds (oppress) of Christians and entice them to justify staying in their sin instead of pursuing deliverance and freedom from it. Jesus never said for people to stay in their sin after He healed and delivered them. He told them to go and sin no more. He told everyone to repent for their sin and follow and obey Him and the Bible. Repenting means to change and turn away from sin and walk in obedience with God. When a Christian forgives all, repents for their pride and sin and is delivered from demonic strongholds in their souls then sin loses its attraction and then becomes rare in their lives. That’s why the Holy Spirit convicts us for sinning so that we change and make sin rare. We need the Holy Spirit to help us to forgive everyone and then…

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO BE A BELIEVER BUT ARE SINNING?

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO BE A BELIEVER BUT ARE SINNING? Most people have never read this scripture in the New Testament and I have never heard a pastor ever preach it in a message. It is written by Paul.  1 Corinthians 5:9-13 NLT “When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.”” So how many churches are obeying this verse? Most allow anyone who calls themselves…

SCRIPTURES THAT YOU WILL NEVER HEAR PREACHED IN MOST CHURCHES

SCRIPTURES THAT YOU WILL NEVER HEAR PREACHED IN MOST CHURCHES Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” I John 3:4-10 NKJV “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in…

BACKSLIDING HAPPENS WHEN WE TOLERATE THE SIN THAT JESUS DIED FOR

BACKSLIDING HAPPENS WHEN WE TOLERATE THE SIN THAT JESUS DIED FOR Jesus told us to repent for our sin which means to turn from it and follow Him. Obey His instructions. When He ministered to people He said to go and sin no more. What happens if we refuse to obey Jesus and the Bible? To tolerate sin in our lives and not separate ourselves from iniquity. ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is…

WHEN WE ARE HEALED & DELIVERED SIN BECOMES RARE IN OUR LIVES

WHEN WE ARE HEALED & DELIVERED SIN BECOMES RARE IN OUR LIVES When we are healed from our soul wounds of our past and have forgiven everyone who has hurt us, repented for our pride and sin, delivered from demonic strongholds then sin becomes rare in our lives. We don’t want to sin anymore. It has no hold on us or attraction to it - we become like Jesus as our fruit is His fruit. We are a true Christian with the fruit to show for it. Christians who continue to live a life full of compromised sin, lust, selfishness and pride with no conviction for it will not see heaven no matter how many good works, miracles, casting out of demons in others or prophesying over others that they have done. ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from…

THE PROCESS OF SANCTIFICATION

THE PROCESS OF SANCTIFICATION The process of sanctification could take a person years depending on how long they want to be in control of their life versus giving their life to Christ. Many Christians just go through the formality of “asking Jesus to come into their hearts” but stop there and never truly forgive all who hurt them nor repent “change” from living a life full of sin to one that resembles how Jesus lived. Below is the typical sanctification process that is required to see the true fruit of the spirit that Jesus wants in all true believers. THE PROCESS OF SANCTIFICATION: 1 - Make a decision to follow Jesus Christ and to become a true believer 2 - Understand that Christians are tormented by demons until completing the sanctification process 3 - Stop blaming spouse or others for your sinful behavior and own it and decide you want to truly change 4 - Humble yourself from your pride 5 - Truly forgive all who hurt you from your heart 6 - Repent for your sin and truly change 7 - Command demons to go from you 8 - Walk every day in forgiveness to those who hurt you.…

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRUE VS FALSE REPENTANCE

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRUE VS FALSE REPENTANCE When people continue to live in sin after they have repented for sin indicates what their true freewill wants as they simply do not truly want to change from their sin. Many take God’s grace for granted as they believe they can continue to live a sin filled life and not have any consequences for it. That is not true. Habitual sin will have consequences and then God’s grace will eventually run out. Judas stole money from Jesus when they had people make donations to their ministry as they ministered throughout. “But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it. But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial. For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭12‬:‭4‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Judas eventually betrayed Jesus to have him…

SINS SEPARATES US FROM GOD

SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD Sin is a huge issue with Christians in the church today. Most have little to no conviction for sinning and believe God’s gift of grace allows them to live like the world with no consequences in their daily walk or potentially costing them their salvation when they die. They believe they don’t need to be obedient to what is written in the Bible. More than half of all pastors look at porn every month. Jesus said when a man lusts after a woman in his heart that he has committed adultery with her in Matthew 5:27-28. Sin matters. Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery to “go and sin no more.” Many struggle with lust and sexual sin, while others struggle with pride, controlling others, witchcraft, gossiping, slander, anger, fear, bitterness, jealousy, drunkenness, and evil intentions in their hearts and minds. Even Wikipedia defines “Salvation” as the deliverance of the soul from sin and its consequences. People don’t want to believe that sin could cost them their salvation and that God would actually expect them to live in accordance with the Bible. Sadly most Christians don’t read the Bible for themselves and instead believe…

ARE YOU LIVING A LUKEWARM OR RIGHTEOUS LIFE FOR JESUS?

ARE YOU LIVING A LUKEWARM OR RIGHTEOUS LIFE FOR JESUS? Most people who are church attenders today would fall into the category of the Lukewarm church according to Revelation 3:14-22. They continue to live a life of sin with lust, porn, masturbation, sexual impurity, anger, gossip, bitterness, and pride. Making idols of food, sex, alcohol, sports, money, politicians, their job, social media, movies, songs and bowing down to sinful people, lukewarm church leaders in sin, ungodly organizations and companies. Most don’t have any conviction in their hearts for their sin and don’t see any need to ask for forgiveness or repent to God because they have been taught by their pastors that grace covers all their sin and they don't need to repent anymore. They want to appear to be godly in front of their church friends but then live like the world the rest of the week. ““And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are…
