When Jesus walked the earth those who wanted the love and anointing that He had became true disciples and followers of Him. They let go of the demons that had legal rights to torment them from their past hurts by listening to what Jesus talked about and then forgiving those who hurt them and repenting for their pride and sin to become like Christ. Those who hated Jesus had evil hearts and minds and refused to forgive people and kept their pride so were infected with the demons tormenting their thoughts. Some of the Pharisees and scribes hated Jesus because they were filled with pride, arrogance and jealousy (demons) and wanted to turn other people in the church and region against Him.
While most Christians want to get along with all people, unfortunately those who are listening to demons in their minds will manifest against the Jesus in us. So we will never be able to truly “get along” with people who have hearts and minds that are evil. If we do tolerate the evil in others (and that includes those in the church today who are like the Pharisees and scribes) then we are not doing what Jesus did and said. How many times did Jesus walk away from the Pharisees to keep His peace on? We must take a stand and be consecrated to Christ for righteousness, mercy and humility. Jesus knew that what He walked in would cause people with demons to hate Him and those who chose to live for Christ would face the same attacks.
Luke 12:49-53 New King James Version (NKJV)
Christ Brings Division
49 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! 51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. 52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. 53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
Anyone who does not truly have Christ in their minds and hearts will have conflict with those who walk in the fullness of Christ and are not afraid to show it (manifest). Light and darkness cannot co-exist. Good and evil are not compatible. Jesus could not just “get along” with Satan. Elijah could not tolerate Jezebel. David could not live in the same palace as Saul. People today who are for the murder of babies (abortion) and tolerating sexually immoral lifestyles will not agree with those who are for keeping babies alive and living pure sexually. People in America who are truly godly Christians cannot support the platform of the Democrats. A spouse who has Jesus in their hearts will have godly fruit of the spirit and will not be able to get along with a spouse who behaves in anger, strife, pride, control and sexually promiscuity. That is the number one reason for strife and arguments in marriages is because you can have one person who chooses to get freed from demonic thoughts and lives a godly life who is married to one who chooses not to get delivered – and that person will always create strife and misery until they get delivered – if ever. The demon affected person’s goal is to make their spouse’s life misery and to shut them down from accomplishing anything for the Lord (or at least significantly stopping the Holy Spirit to flow in them to truly impact the lives of others).
True Christians are now being squeezed more than ever by the enemy in the world as we can’t just say we are Christians – we have to actually stand up for true Christian values and face the wrath of those with evil in their hearts. It’s getting more uncomfortable by the month to truly stand up for godly values and decisions as the Bible talks about how this will happen in the end times as evil becomes more evil and Christians will become more persecuted. You can no longer live a worldly life and be a lukewarm Christian anymore as the Lord will spew you out of His mouth.
2 Timothy 3 New King James Version (NKJV)
Perilous Times and Perilous Men
3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.
The Man of God and the Word of God
10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
So expect to have those who have the enemy in their hearts and minds to come against you more and more as the evil in them will be stronger than ever. Think about all those who come against you when you stand up for President Trump. Trump is doing what is good and right and the enemy in the liberal media and Democrats are manifesting demonically against him. There are even people who attend church who are against Trump and his godly policies because they are blinded spiritually and listen to the liberal media lying about him and twisting truth and are falling for their lies and deception. Being spiritually blinded means that they can’t discern between good and evil. Just like the Pharisees and scribes who came against Jesus Christ. It’s hard to imagine anyone in the church coming against Trump’s decisions to save babies and end abortion, bring justice upon the evil ones who are involved with human trafficking and pedophilia, building a wall to protect America from evil ones trying to infiltrate through Mexico (not those who are wanting to come in legally who are good – those who are trying to smuggle drugs and sex traffic children), giving us religious freedom to worship, coming against corruption throughout the world, bringing those who are involved in harming children and hurting people to justice, etc.
So if Jesus and the disciples had those with demons coming against them – expect when you take a stand for truth, justice, purity, and the ministry of deliverance – that you will also be attacked and lied about. Are you going to be a mighty man or woman of valor or will you shrink back and cower into submission and fear? If you can’t stand up for Christ on earth do you think you will be welcomed into Heaven or vomited out?
Revelation 3:14-19 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Lukewarm Church
14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
So count it all joy when you have people who are not of the Lord (and there are many of them who attend church and in leadership who are not delivered from demons yet) who come against you. There are so many who have not been healed from their soul wounds and gotten delivered yet who will attack the Jesus in you. There are many who are in the church who are not delivered yet who would call you evil and say you have the spirit of Jezebel and Leviathan when they are the ones who actually have those demons tormenting them. Standing up for Christ is not easy because you have to battle the demons in others. All you need to care about is the approval of God and Jesus – so if Jesus got hated on by those in the church for trying to help people get delivered – then you will too. Christ is coming back for a pure and spotless bride and there are few in the church today who qualify. The Lord looks at the fruit of our lives and our hearts and minds. Who are we really? Behind closed doors when no one else is looking but God. You can do it – pursue righteousness and holiness. Though you may be the only one in your family or church – God is the only who matters who knows the truth.
