Why do most people who attend church and call themselves Christians not walk daily in the fruit of the Spirit? Because they were wounded by people and the enemy when they grew up and now hear thousands of thoughts every day from demons. Hurting people hurt people because they are tormented by negative thoughts every day from demons that have legal rights to harass them because people have not truly forgiven those who hurt them from their hearts. They still have unforgiveness in their hearts along with anger and bitterness as the demons keep whispering thoughts to them to remind them of all the bad things that were done and cause them to be angry, jealous, hatred, have impure sexual behavior, etc. Their soul wounds have not yet been healed by Jesus so they are unable to truly behave like a godly and pure Christian. There are millions who attend church, teach, pastor and lead churches who have not had their soul wounds healed so they behave in their flesh like it describes in Galatians 5:19-21 and Paul states that they will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
So to walk in the spirit requires that we truly are honest with ourselves – to forgive everyone from our hearts, repent and humble ourselves from all pride and for our sins. Then continue to forgive new people who will hurt you in the future (because there are many in this world who are not healed and delivered and will lie about, betray you, condemn you, etc.). Many hear the enemy’s thoughts and think they are their own which causes them to believe that all their decisions are right and anyone who does not agree with them is wrong. So we often think that those who live godly lives are our enemies if we are hearing demons speak to us.
Demons are very convincing when we hear them in our minds and will get mad if we forgive others because they know that will take away their legal rights to control us like a puppet and then we can cast them out of us. The main signs that you will know when you have been delivered from the demons tormenting you is that you will have peace in yourself, walk in humility and sexual purity and the fruit of the Spirit. You will actually be happy, joyful, loving and kind and will enjoy peace and quiet. You will put others before your own desires. You will behave in a calm, Christlike way. Jesus is coming back for a pure and spotless bride. So truly forgive everyone who ever hurt you, humble the pride out of yourself, repent for your sin and then stay clean by continuing to forgive everyone and walk in purity.
