Why are so many people in the church struggling to have peace and see the fruit of the spirit evident in their day to day lives?  Why are so many people living in either miserable marriages or experiencing painful divorces?  Why do so many people have sickness and disease in their bodies? Why are so many children angry at their church-going parents?  Why do so few people in church truly love each other like Christ? Unfortunately most relationships and marriages in the world are not at peace and are simply miserable.  More than half of all marriages end in divorce (both believers in Christ and non-believers).  Hearts are broken as people simply want to be unconditionally loved.  What is the main reason behind all of this mess?  In one word it comes down to this.  Demons. Demons are alive and well in the world as they have been since the earth was created by God and 1/3 of the angels were cast out of heaven with their leader Lucifer (now Satan).  Demons torment people in their minds and thus cause them to buy into their suggestions in their minds to hurt themselves and other people.  Demons torment both non-believers and those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior as long as their legal right to stay tormenting them is still intact.  One of the reasons they can continue to torment a believer's soul is because they have unforgiveness in their heart towards someone who offended or hurt them. Another reason is because they have a strong spirit of pride that causes them to behave arrogantly and thinking they are better than other people.…

Most people desire to live a life that is free from strife and arguments.  If you are married to someone who consistently speaks hurtful words, controls you through making you do what they want or else they make your life miserable, or continually strives with you, then it is very hard to enjoy your life.  Some people have gone through divorces and are single yet they become lonely and then settle on marrying someone so they can have someone to talk to and share their lives with but then later they contend with strife similarly to their previous spouse and are more miserable then when they were single.  So it seems like it is a lose-lose situation in the world of marriage and relationships for more than 75% of the people in the world. Unfortunately, the enemy is behind the majority of strife in relationships as he causes people to hear his voice and then they act upon it or speak out what they are hearing and never realize it.  When a child is hurt by their parents through rejection, control, criticism, sarcasm, or worse – then they begin to hear the enemy speak to them in their minds and…

There are many enemy spirits and some have names that we can identify. What has been harassing a person for years and often times a lifetime since as early as their teens? Why do they behave the way they do?  Why can they not live a peace filled, gentle and loving life?  Why are they unable to enjoy a loving relationship with their spouse and children even after spending months, years or a lifetime in counseling/therapy? It is a spirit that exhibits much control, manipulation and causes a person to easily lie and drives them to dominate more than any other spirit. It especially attacks those that the Lord has a strong calling on and who could become greatly anointed once completely set free from all the oppressing spirits.  Many will become extremely anointed especially that have endured the worst conditions as a child as the enemy wanted to destroy and control, never allowing its victim to become set free and know what has been haunting them for a lifetime. How does this spirit gain entry into a person? Through the years of pain, rejection, control, anger and possible abuse from the person’s father (and sometimes mother) this extreme hurt…

So what are the common behaviors that people who have endured rejection, control, manipulation and emotional pain from a father (or mother)? What would a person exhibit towards their spouse, children or others in the work place?  Below is a list of some common traits and, if one is truly honest (and that is the key that the one reading this must be totally honest with themselves), they will probably identify with some or many of them. The more of the pain that they have endured in their life from a father that was overly controlling, rejecting, and hurtful or a mother that was void of unconditional love the more of the behaviors they will exhibit.  The more behavior traits that they exhibit the stronger the enemy spirit’s control of them will be and the harder it will be for them to admit they may have an underlying issue and the more challenging it will be for them to get free from the unhealthy control of the enemy.
